I think it's a pretty accurate representation of what I would assume BriseBois has planned. The only thing is, the cap in this is at $83m. While it's good to have a plan for if the cap is that low, based on previous increases, it would probably be closer to $84m or $85m; this year's cap increased by $2m and people considered that low, so I would hope it increases by at least that much again (which would put as at $83.5m). That probably allows us to keep Joseph and Paquette (unless we do need them as trade bait). That being said, with an $83m cap, I wouldn't be surprised to see something along these lines. If this were me, I would put Point at like $8.25m and give Cirelli $4m x 3, but I guess we'll see where Point is soon enough.

I'm sure someone's going to come here and say that Vasilevskiy needs at least $10m because of Bobrovsky, but that's just as ridiculous as saying Marner deserves a Matthews-like contract because of Panarin. The RFA market and the UFA market are drastically different. I don't want to imagine how much Point would be getting on the open market, but I can tell you it's almost definitely not the same amount we will actually be giving him.
