The Leafs aren’t matching any offer sheets for Marner. It is alright clear. I have spoken to many girls in Toronto about the Marner situation. They all told me they would much rather keep Nylander and lose Marner since Willy is more loyal, hard working and committed to the team. Plus he isn’t greedy or arrogant and has actually shown that he is worth his contract unlike Mitch. What’d you think?

I see 3 possibilities. 1. Dubas will have to find a cheap replacement quickly via trade. 2. Trade a forward asset to find a dman with term to step in. Or 3 bite the bullet we shot at are self and hope they play their way outta it

You'll have to overpay for either of the 1st 2 options and you can't trade next years 1st rounder because of the condition on the pick you sent to Carolina. To fix a defensive problem like that you would have to trade a forward to find the answer because you don't have the cap or picks to find another means

You might not have to trade any. Definitely wont need to to find a depth dman. And probably if we move nylander. Kappy or Johnsson we won’t either because they will all have enough value. More than likely will have to add bracco if we absolutely have to
