Yep, you're right. Yzerman has gradually destroyed this team. It's not like he constructed the team coming off of the NHL's best regular season ever

None of Gourde, Johnson and Palat are better than Ferland however they are all more individually skilled and faster which suits the Lightning’s game.

Not really. You can win the cup with speed and skill. Look at the Penguins in 2016. The players need to be resilient and that’s tough when you have so many egos in the locker room. It’s coach Cooper’s responsibility to get these guys back on track.
