Description
The Ellis trade is a bit of a stretch, the Preds don't need more forwards, but a guy can dream. If the Caps can't trade for a top 6 D, Bowey may get the promotion.

Burakovsky should get a top 6 role, meaning Mojo is expendable and should be used as trade bait. Mojo is very versatile and can move up and down the top 3 lines, play all situations and can be C or wing.

I really like the Helm signing and Stalberg idea (though that's cheap I think for him). Due to the Filip Forsberg rule (puke in my mouth, hold on) we cannot trade highly talented prospects or players to Nashville. While I agree to deal MaJo away at this juncture, you have to get someone NHL impact level and especially if you're adding Schmidt to the deal. Plus, you'll need a 23rd player like promoting Nate Walker (LW) to NHL level as a speed guy on 4th line. I think you could bring back Chimmer on 4LW and not spend on Eaves, and slot Stalberg to RW. Good stuff though!!
