You would have to retain half of Lucics salary to make this even possible.

Can't wait until this rumour dies. It makes zero sense for Calgary to get Lucic. If he bounces back to a quality of play he is two season removed from he's a $6M 3rd line LW. If Neal returns to form after what was hopefully a one year blip where he struggled to find a fit on a new team while being gassed from two straight trips to the cup final he is a the first or second line RW at $5.75M. Not only that, but to swap a middle six utility winger who just went PPG in the playoffs for a guy who's struggling to crack even the Oilers lineup that's devoid of good NHL forwards outside of their big three is almost comedic.
