Description

Doubt Vegas would do this with 2 division rivals, but this would seem to make sense for all parties involved.

In Coyotes deal, they exchange 7th dmen and save a few dollars. They also get a promising wing in Fischer and Burke scored 33 points as a rookie in the AHL last year.

In the LA trade, they save money and exchange 4th line centers. LA adds a pick because Eakin is the better player.

With these moves they can afford to sign their remaining FAs and still field one of the best teams in the Western Conference.

Nope, I made sure of that. Once they put Hossa on LTIR they have about $1.8 mil in space with Gusev signed (granted it could be a low number for him)

I think the Arizona trade works great. I don't think the Kings trade makes much sense since they aren't going to need better players because they aren't going to be anywhere near playoff contention. Also Schuldt and Engelland are signed for way too much. Schuldt maxes out around 1 million while Engelland probably maxes out around 1.25 but could be well under a million. With the money saved from Schuldt and Engelland signings they can keep Eakin.
