Description

Avs are deep with D so move the Russian. Of course, if Gusev is not in VGK's future plans then no need to trade for Zadorov so the signing and the trade have to go hand in hand.

Hague and Schuldt can split starts in their rookie years. Too much press box won't do either of them any good.

Gotta be the early frontrunner for best 3rd line in hockey.

Calgary (or Minny) can be substituted for any other of the 29 teams. I just assumed my post would have been interpreted that way but I should have clarified.

(but you gotta admit, after Brad's trade for Lucic, I gotta think he is a manager worth contacting when others want to dump)

Another rental the Avs don't need. The Avs aren't actually that deep on the left D, and besides Cole (currently injured and unlikely to be re-signed once his current contract runs out), Zadorov is the only truly physical D the Avs have. Numbers on the left, yes, quality no. He's also just starting to put it all together so I don't think the Avs would even consider moving him in that kind of move.

Yeah perhaps a long shot. Although after Nate and Kadri, who do you have down the middle? If anyone knows the importance of center depth its Sakic. So is it that far fetched of a trade? Perhaps more picks etc. need to even out the trade or maybe Joe extends Eakin first, but it's certainly not a lopsided proposal and could benefit both teams.
