They should trade Hyman.
Don't get me wrong I think he's a good player. But coming off an ACL tear, he's not going to be 100% this year.
Then you got one more year and he's probably a cap casualty. Given I wouldn't expect a great year out of him this year, this might be the best value you can possibly get out of him.
They are putting his return at 6 months, but I know for a fact he won't be 100% on that knee in 6 months. It usually takes about 18 months to 2 years, give or take a bit, to fully recover from an ACL.
Cybex tests and all.
If they could trade him out for something decent, it's probably worth doing it.

They'll be out for at least the 24 days to be on LTIR. Hyman is expected to miss all of October, Dermott could be out until December.
