If this team makes any kind of trade it's to bring in a LD. Not to move someone else out.
That is all dependent on how much they trust Riikola and if they think Almari is capable of stepping in if he can't get it done. Other than that they would have to try to find someone at LD on the market for under Riikola salary.

The penguins can sign MP for 1.6. No one will offer sheet him. Revenge is sweet and the penguins are closing a window. They will suck soon and have tons of cap space. No one wants to deal with an angry team like that. So no one pokes the bear.

not enough bro but keep trying-no way to make it through the year with 17k in cap space. Maybe reality will set in for you about the need to sell off some assets and in so doing you have to part with value and even dare I say 1st round picks. Nobody wants your buried treasure....

If someone was going to OS him they could do it at under 4,227,437 for a 2nd round pick and it would have happened by now because we all know the Penguins can't match that and not one ACGM on here has him going for that much.
