Description
Not sure if the WPG trade would go through.. WPG is in win-now mode, For Fabbri I believe has 40+ point potential.. I mean his rookie season he had 18-19-37. He's battled injuries but I think if he's healthy he can be a good top 6 contributor. Making next to no $ also helps WPG retain Connor+Laine. Kostin could potentially slot in as a 4C?

CBJ trade - Basically any teams that needs any sort of goalie help.

OTT - explained already but basically just a camp dump. 99% probability it doesn't happen but in a perfect world I think It'd be a move to be made.

This team is left with nearly 4M of cap space to potentially add a piece at some point. Maybe even bring back Maroon on a 1 year deal as next summer they have a couple big extensions to look after.

2020 Summer - Resigning Pietrangelo is priority #1. I could see him getting 10M AAV.
Schenn should come in under 8M AAV.
That leaves Bouwmeester who is most likely done after this year or preferably signed to a 1 year 1-2M deal, Blais/Dunn/Husso who are all RFA's. Should be able to keep this entire team together.

Without moving Steen/Allen it could be problematic keeping this group together after this year.

Additional Details:
2 years left on his contract, 26gp 5pts in playoffs is very easily replaceable. Dump his salary to any team willing to take it. Tried to mimic the Marleau trade.

LMAO that WPG deal isn't happening in a million years and they absolutely do not think Fabbri has "40 point potential". He's a fringe roster guy at this point pending an extremely low odds comeback, those injuries can totally wreck a career

Also Steen isn't waiving his NTC for the Senators

Also holy **** that Eddy contract, what are you doing?

Also for as much of you value Fabbri and Eddy on what they did or seemed like they could be in a small window in the past, you seem to think Allen is worth basically nothing. He's worth not a lot but for a team like CBS he could get a 3rd back without including a 4th

Also the Blues aren't going into a cup run season with a 1-2 of Binnington-Husso. That is waaaaay too much risk and basically why Allen is still on the team

I do think you Barbie contract is spot on though
chiddie liked this.
