This is essentially our team from last year, just Enroth instead of Gustavsson. You know they'll do more than this.

BruinsForThe Win.............a second attempt at next year's team. Both times all that was done was change backup goalies from last year ( first Chad Johnson and now Enroth. ) Groundhog day ! How many times in the history of hockey has a team that has failed to make the playoffs kept the same roster ?

Bruins drafted two defenseman who have solid upside. McAvoy and Lindgren were great picks. Frederic is a head scratcher, but BU's headcoach, David Quinn, tried hard to recruit him and was upset he didn't opt for Boston Uni. He said the kid is a "sleeper pick," who could very well be a good pro. You don't like the pick b/c you never heard of him and are going off what analysts said (guys who are so good at their job that they aren't employed by NHL teams, people seem to forget that part of the "experts"). Danton Heinen was an "out of nowhere pick" who went to DU, and has top 6 potential now. You don't know with these kids.... Hell, switch Lindgren and Frederic and it's not even a big deal. They are interchangeable at that point.

Honestly, I'm glad Sweeney didn't overpay for Shattenkirk. I'm glad he stuck to the draft and development route. I love McAvoy, and he'll be here sooner rather than later. Lindgren, his style of play doesn't seem long for Minnesota either. He easily could be done in 2/3 years there, and come right into pro hockey. You're mad b/c the Bruins didn't finish out their team before the offseason even started, lol. Typical overreacting Bruins fan. Is it July 1st yet? Can't stand fans like you.
