Do the first one now. If you can go from Spooner to JGP in two trades, at a cost of Bear, do it.

Definitely wait to trade your first pick for a defenseman who alternates between good and not so good seasons. Cheaper puck moving defensemen on the market during this summer might include Gardiner, Ristolainen, and maybe Djoos?
