Description

4 young players (who don’t require waivers) start in Hartford...this enables Chytl and Howden to work on their deficiencies there.,,and Krav to get a little more North America acclimation...all the while conserving cap room..,also allows the top 3 lines to get a heavier workload (lesser than normal 4th line use) during this odd/sparse scheduling to start the season...maybe this even helps these 3 lines to gel before exchanging players for 10/17..,when some young guys- especially Fox-are brought back and the emphasis changes to rolling 4 lines...Morrow waived upon Fox return and Smith becomes 7D
