Description
I'm doing this to a view of a HEALTHY leafs team. Slot Spezza in if there's a forward injury or even Korshkov or Agostino for a short stretch. I tried to stick relatively realistic - Dubas has been clear that Johnsson, Nylander and Kapanen aren't going anywhere so not going to try to move one of them.

Petan - We don't need him Oilers could use some depth.

Shore - Same as Petan, Sens clearly aren't going the youth movement this year so an OK veteran depth forward is a good pickup and once Hyman is back he's clearly the odd-man-out.

Walker/Ceci/Bracco - This is one where I'm not sure. Walker is not fully proven yet, he is an improvement for the leafs though. Really the trade in my mind is Bracco for Walker with the picks being compensation for taking Ceci. Bracco helps the Kings rebuild as do the picks and Ceci (if they sign him to a deal for what he's worth) could be a solid bottom-pairing piece for them as they build the team back up.

TVR - Is it perfect no, is he a better shutdown option than what we have right now...maybe. Is he half as expensive as Ceci YES. Gravel is really the contract for contract part of this and is a serviceable 7 or 8 which is all Carolina needs him to be.

Stalock - He's not perfect but has been hot so far this year and he's not Minnesota's answer for the future either. He could be a serviceable backup piece in another deal to get a better/more established goalie to share the load with Andersen. At the very least he's a better option than Hutch for those pesky backtobacks.

Would love to hear thoughts. Mainly on trades that get Ceci out of town and better D-depth in as well as ones that get a better backup in over Hutch.

Stalock has been pretty good for the Wilds so far why would they trade him for a mediocre backup and a 7th round pick

I do see your point. Might take more to pry him away. They will hit a point this year where they need to rebuild so why not get an asset for him. A 7th may be too low maybe a 4th
