Way too much to give up for Dumba - he's a 2nd pairing defenseman when he's on top of his game, which he hasn't been this year. With Bouchard coming next year (he's considered NHL-ready right now), where does Dumba fit in the long-term plans? As a $6M 3rd pairing / 2nd PP guy? Seems an awful waste - especially when you've overpaid to get him in the first place.

The Ottawa trade is a massive, MASSIVE overpay for 2 mediocre rentals.
