Description

Thronton waives to go to Tampa for a playoff run and Tampa adds a 3C that adds some playmaking ability to the third line, physical presence and playoff grit and experience.
Sharks get a prospect they can use right away and they can re-sign for cheap this offseason.

Thornton will probably be worth a 4th rounder. Joseph is worth a 3rd and a 4th if you give back a 5th

Joseph is kind of a nothing player for the sharks . We have bottom line players, what we really need is picks to get top ones

What? You realize im a Tampa fan right? Joseph is decent player but hes still a bottom sixer and likely doesnt amount to much more. Thorton, regardless of age is still a very good depth piece with 180 playoff games under his belt and 133 playoff points. Is physical and a grinder. If Thorton waives for a cup run there is no way San Jose is paying a 3rd to send him out without getting an A level prospect back.
