Leafs

Honestly, I don't think the Leafs do that trade. That's not to say it's not enough for Kapanen, the deal just doesn't make sense for Toronto imo. It's similar to the Barrie deal in which they down graded at fwd for a rental d-man, and given the contract status of their right side right now, it doesn't make much sense to do that again. Bennett doesn't add much to the deal for the Leafs, sure he's a fine player but nothing really separates him from the already clogged up bottom six, so he's just another cap hit to worry about. Also, since Hamonic is a rental, he's very risky. He's had a pretty bad year, so you'd really be banking on him to bounce back quickly and substantially. Just don't think the Leafs would do it.
