Description
I'm building this version of the Sens team to intentionally become an offensively-minded team. With the arrival of Guy Boucher, the team should have an improved offensive system. And with players already in place like Karlsson, Hoffman, Stone and Ryan, improving the forward corps even more should put us top five in GF next season.

That said, that needs to come at the sacrifice of defense. But look at Dallas, for example, surviving with John Klingberg as their only legitimate top-4 guy last year. Also, there's the notion that if you have the puck in the opposing team's zone a ton, that means it's not going to be in your end as often. Defense by creating offense.

Chabot and lazar get schenn by themselves possibly the third too. major overpayment. the dallas deal seems pointless as well, the ceci trade I can understand but with puempl for essentially nichushkin seems like a step in the wrong direction

Doesn't really matter. It's not massively overpaying (like Hall for Larsson), but it's overpaying enough to push Philadelphia over the line and say 'yes'. No trade can be exactly fair.

Also, which lineup do you like better? Current or this one? I feel that if we make these trades/signings, even though it's overpaying, we'd be much closer to a Stanley Cup.

Would you alter these trades in any way to make them more realistic, or would you just flat out not do them? I'm interested to know.
