Description

Instead of ripping apart a very good top-4 D corps for a guy like Trochek, the Wild should endure another (probable) season of pain and collect another top-10 pick. With the progression of Ek and Kunin in addition to Khovanov, Boldy and a couple of high draft picks, the Wild could have up to six guys under the age of 25 competing for three center spots within two years.

Seattle expansion (6/21) Fs: Parise, Zuccarello, Fiala, Ek, Kunin, Greenway, Sturm D: Suter, Spurgeon, Dumba G: Kahkonen (for now)
Brodin (pending UFA) gets a handshake deal to be signed immediately following the draft.

My guess is Soucy would be the selection. Ron Francis likes his d-men.

Goalie position still needs an upgrade.

The sad deal with Wild is that they're at the moment to good to draft in the TOP10...unless they win the lottery ofc.

Also EDM is a prime example what happens when you use your prospects too soon. Wild should abstain from doing that, and give them time develop.
