2020-2021 season creative thinking Let me know what u think

So I was thinking to make a good dcore for next year in the flat cap Dubas can go to KHL and SHL to sign some defenseman and a future starting goalie. I know I know its a risk. But sometimes risks pay off. Some of these guys can come cheap and bring skills that we have not seen before. In addition to this I brought in Thorton and Spezza veterans who can give these kids some advice cause after seeing spezza a guy like thorton could be interesting on this team.

Dubas First Target Mikhail Grigorenko replacing Kerfoot as the third line center. He knows Mikeyv and Dubas has talked to him about coming over. After hearing of Mikeyv injury and seeing what Dubas did for him he may decide to come over.

Dubas Second Target either Timur Bilyalov or Adam Reideborn as Freddies eventual sucessor .both are great goalies especially Bilyalov. I know the size thing but sometimes size isnt everything so give him a shot look at samsonov, georgiev, Vasilevsky, and Shesterkin all good backups or starters.

Finally for Defense Dubas goes for Alexey Marchenko and Johannes Kinnvall. I know Alexey was with the leafs back in 2017 but since returning to the KHL he has vastly improved so bringing him back could be a good thing. As for Johannes this kids could be something. He reminds me of Liligren only slightly more developed at both ends of the ice. Bringing him in on a 3 year entry level contract should not hurt the leafs. Another guy being looked at is Artyom Zub. Like Kinnvall he plays well and could fit well with morgan rielly as he has been pretty solid in the KHL so again dubas signs him to a standard entry level contract like he did with Kinnvall

Again I know it is risky to sign so many foreign players but with these cap strapped times Dubas may want to try this as it could benefit the team for the foreseeable future. Oh and the one trade is so toronto can give ottawa some players to speed up their rebuild and replenish some picks we traded away.
