I do agree that Eakin is well liked by ownership and the coaching staff, but also believe given the right circumstance he could be expendable. The emergence of Janmark, Faksa, and even Dickinson could open the door up for Eakin being moved if it allowed for a goaltender to be brought in.

I've tried to do multiple scenarios to see how a Bishop trade might work, this one was a partnership to get them cap & contract savings, which I couldn't make Eakin fit and therefore dealt him.

Main thing for me - Just hope we're not done with the roster, as if we are I believe we could step back, and fear it could be enough to miss the playoffs with the losses we've sustained thusfar...
