I forgot only Leaf players hold value and only a package of Kapanen/Johnsson/Kerfoot and some other plugs can get valuable players in return.

however it is true that this package falls short. Where Rakell's value is dropping, his contract makes him valuable still. As a canucks fan, Lind appears to be a middle sixer in the NHL with a bit of top six upside. He's a good prospect, but i'm not convinced he is great. The ducks might have interest in him, but realistically his value is about the cost of a first higher.
I like the original idea! It's something to work with.
