Hard Pass any Matt Murray trade. Truly, it's not a big knock on who he is, but he's 100% NOT better than Crow for 1 year and then....why lose Nylander?

Crow might be (emphasis on might, given his injuries and age) better than Murray, but getting Murray would be a massive move for the future. He had a down year and isn't the most consistent goalie, but when he is on he is a top 10 guy in the league and has championship experience. I'm definitely in favor of a Nylander for Murray type deal.

We know Lehner, right. He was just traded at the TDL for a 2nd rounder and a lower prospect. Lehner > Murray and that was the TDL where draft picks get treated with lower value than the offseason. Also, Lehner was playing REALLY good. Murray ( I agree with you) was very inconsistent. I'd personally prefer to not have to caveat "when he's on" for a goalie trade. I mean, i understand everyone is going to have an off day here or there, but it's just a lot to give up for a guy that's being sold low.

***EDIT*** If PIT takes Zack Smith too....ok we're talking now.
