He won't but he did say in an interview last season that he contemplated it because he was miserable under Peters. He had no idea what was expected of him and next to zero communication, but it got better with Ward, and he was enjoying hockey again on a line with Ryan and Dube.

doesn't it mean that when he retires, the flames suffer a cap penalty and could the oilers suffer because of it?
