Can someone explain to me why al the Kuznetsov trades? I could be wrong but a top two punch of him and Backstrom has been pretty good no? Lol. Unless everyone thinks Mcmichael is ready?

I think the big problem is his perceived off-ice and attitude issues that have popped up the last two years and people have been questioning the price tag he has.

People on this site like to create false narratives or glorify issues by using advanced stats or as I like to call the fantasy stats. Kuzy defense is poor. So is Draisaitl mcdavid Kane....etc. so people like to trade a top 25 center and replace him with lesser talent and expect better results. Example “let’s trade Draisaitl for Danault this will make our team better”. This is the logic of 100% of advance stat people and why common sense > advanced stats
