Oilers pass. Better off giving jp a chance on the wing in the top six for much cheaper upside could be very similar. Including a first just makes it that much easier to walk away from.

You can add a 4th on Habs side of the deal.

Also, why bury Weal? You can either keep him or trade him with a pick for a 2021 pick.

Otherwise, I like it. What's with Hoffman though? Why do we keep hearing that he's not a team player? I don't know him well enough. Seems like a good fit but I am curious to know more...

Depth at C? Leon mcdavid nuge is very solid top six centre depth where does domi fit into this? Can’t be paying him what he will command to be 3c and doubt he would be thrilled with that role. Domi to Edmonton just isn’t a good fit. Too good for the one c position available and if he’s ever used as a c in top six that means two of mcdavid nuge or Leon are out at which point it wouldn’t really matter who plays where winning is almost out of the question.
