Canucks fans were more or less paying the same amount just to dump Erickson (minus Juolevi and the 1st) like a month ago on this site. So the trade is OEL for Juolevi and a first next year? Hard pass from AZ. Spare me the “dollars saved” argument too they’re trading OEL to improve other areas not dump cap

Not much money next year nope. But any team that offer sheets another best have their key players signed. Pettersson and Hughes will be signed to extensions before this season starts.

I don't see that your team has the cap space. You will only have $9.5M next year and need to resign Pettersson, Hughes, Demko and have enough space to replace Edler and Leivo.
