Usually I agree with most of your takes, but I disagree on this one... I think this could be a good fit. 15+ goal scorer, could be a top 6 guy here, right handed forward with some speed and we'd get 3 of his prime years, as he's still only 28... I actually like this one.

That's fine and I get it, I'm just not into taking any cap hits. The guy is hurt a lot and played with kadri and landeskog a lot this year. He won't get that same playing premium in detroit. Just not into his cap hit

Those are legit points. I'd be willing to roll the dice on him though, as I think he actually still has more to go to hit his ceiling and I think he'd easily slot into a top 6 role here. It'd be a little bit of a gamble, but we have the capspace right now and after paying over 5x5 for Nielsen, this looks like a massive bargain, haha

Fabbri, zadina, mantha bertuzzi is our top 6 wingers, you put him ahead of any of those? If he played C I'd agree but as winger he's still a 3rd liner here
