this is a horrid trade for the ducks. Etem is at most a 4th line player or 13th skater and silfverberg is easily a top 6. hansen and the second do not make up the difference. The only benefit is they may have enough to sign linholm then

Yes Silfverberg is a top 6 player as is Hansen, who at the moment is a better all round player. The 2nd may be even a little too much of a sweetener. The Ducks window to achieve anything in the playoffs is closing the addition of Hansen and Etem will help them out a lot more. Though you are right in the end it is a horrid trade... for the Canucks though as they have a few similar players to Silfverberg.
