Description
Thinking of our options without giving up our 1st next year and keeping our higher ranked prospects (Wahlstrom, Dobson, Bolduc, Holmstrom) or Bailey. Unfortunately have to consider giving up our 4th line. Hopefully we find a way for Ladd to go and stay on LTIR. Think a good cheap young player like Jones or Roslovic who still hasn't come close to their potential ceiling would be a good pickup since our prospect pool is pretty thin.

  1. Bellows, Kieffer
  2. Boychuk, Johnny
  3. Wilde, Bode
  4. 2022 2nd round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
Kesler goes on LTIR easily where as Boychuk doesn't. Not sure how serious Bellows substance abuse thing is but trading him for Jones might be a good change of scenery for both. Anaheim gets a 2nd and good RD prospect.

  1. Cizikas, Casey
Additional Details:
Don't want to do it but might have to. Buffalo's bottom 6 looks pretty bad and if we can't keep Zeeker after next year anyway. I don't know if a 2nd will happen either. Maybe it's more like a 3rd and a 4th or something.

Cizikas isn't a cap dump. He's an incredible versatile center who plays all phases of the game. I agree he's about $1m overpaid but it's an expiring contract anyways.
