Hear me out. This team would be awesome. Would it be hard to trade all the cap away? yes. Would we be pressed up against the cap? yes. Would we loose a bunch of depth that we currently have? yes. But to have 3 lines all fighting for a fist line spot would be insane. The danault/Gally?tatar line has clicked for a long time. The suzuki/drouin thing was working in the playoffs and could only get better with the addition of anderson. Kotkaniemi would excel at getting pucks to either toffoli or hoffman, and there would be less pressure on him to shoot and score, which should lead to good things.
In summary, this is probably the only way to get hoffman and keep tatar. if you want hoffman and give up tatar, that is much better for depth, and I covered this in my last team. Just wanted to see what the team looks like with three maybe-first lines, but good second lines.
