The way Edmonton is going that 1st rounder may not be anything special. Had Edmonton gone 2-5 to start, then maybe they would consider it. Ultimately Anaheim doesn't want to trade Lindholm for anything. They will trade other pieces like Fowler or Despres etc (Even at a loss value wise, if necessary) to make the space.

Lindholm wants to to sign but the Ducks are short on available cash due to their internal budget. They just need to crunch the books and make trade to offload a player in order to get everything all settled up. He'll be with Anaheim before the Dec 1st deadline.
