    That's cutting it too close if the cap stays the same.

    I think you'll be forced to let Kempny walk. Replaced with a 700K player instead. That's extra 750K in cap space which actually could help if you need to call up a player.

    And why sign them both for more than they make now? One is in the AHL and the other is the 8th D-man that is only playing because of injuries.

    Also, I don't know if they resign Desjardins again, but certainly not if he wants a raise.
