Description
Some cap would still need to be touched up for Calgary and Nashville

To Nashville:
Stamkos
Pelleltier
Ryan

To Tampa:
1st (Cgy)
2nd (Nsh)
2nd (Cgy
Bennett

To Calgary:
Forsberg

Why this is good for Nashville: Top end center that can elevate that team without giving up a 1st.

Why this is good for Calgary: Right shot winger that absolutely fits what the Flames are looking for in their top 6

Why this is good for Tampa: It's not, but they need to get under that cap badly and this is the only guy they can move that will allow them to fit both RFA contracts without moving another major piece

You point out where that trade is and I will explain it if you can find it.

Thanks for the correction.

Why does captain of the Cup champs waive his NMC for Nashville? I just don't understand why folks think players with NTC or NMC fall on the cap sword. It's the players without the trade protection that will have to be traded

Personally I don't think he would. I think this shows one of the very few options that Tampa has pending clauses obviously. If clauses be damned this it the easiest option for the Lightning as they lose one player that they just ran the playoffs without. Also his cap hit alone should be able to fit Cirelli and Cernak.

Killorn and his M NTC seems to be likely trade. Johnson is almost untradeable because of 5m and the term of 4 years. IMO it's either Cirelli or even the recently signed Sergachev that has to be traded.,
