Description
Still need another solid LHD (easier to find than RHD) and a LWer.

Other ideas: I was curions what Dallas would offer for Leo. We could use 1 more LHD in case Dermott and or Nielsen don't work out.

Just an idea. Thoughts on the ideas? Values/trades can be adjusted.
Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Tanev, Christopher
  2. Virtanen, Jake
Additional Details:
Tanev >> Gardiner

Virtanen and Kap are totally different players. I see the Leafs needing a Virtanen type player in the long run. He has underwhelmed but Kapanen may be blocked short and long term (I want Marner and Willy to stay RW). Virtanen fits a 3rd line profile.

Brown added to make up the difference between Tanev and Gardiner.
2.
NYI
  1. Bozak, Tyler
  2. 2017 2nd round pick (TOR)
3.

  1. Sheahan, Riley
  2. 2017 2nd round pick (DET)

I like the Idea of Tanev coming to the Leafs however I don't think Virtanen is necessary, if you want him for 3rd line time you may as well keep Brown there and find more value for Kaps. Also I don't think we really have a use for Ryan Strome, we have plenty of winger options

Fair. I like what Virtanen could do in the bottom 6 over Brown or Kap. Both can still play a 3rd line game but Virtanen is a different player, something this team lacks. He can score and can play more physical.

Strome I really like. However, not sure it makes sense to trade Kap/Brown and then add Strome. I was just tinkering a bit and wasn't sure who could even use Bozak. NYI 2nd leading faceoff guy is Cizikas. I figured they could maybe use Bozak?

I agree, I like Virtanen if he could ever develop into a top six forward (I would love to add Boone Jenner for the same reasons)

I think that the leafs are giving up better players than they are getting. I like all of the players coming our way but I think we are giving up too much

Babs was a fan of Sheahan. Probably need more back though I agree.
