Description

Zemgus is done for the year after suffering a serious hamstring injury the other day. The goal here is to maximize the additional cap space we could receive when putting him on LTIR.

If this is our roster on the first day of the season when we put Girgs on LTIR, our salary cap for all intents and purposes will go up to roughly $83.7M. This would still give us room to pay out a good chunk of potential ELC bonuses this year.
