Opening night roster - with some kind of lines

I just saw that they were skating with Tex centering the 3rd line and Grigorenko at LW on the top line. Foudy was at LW on the 4th line.

I’m curious to see if Tex stays at Center, or if they eventually want Foudy to move to the middle.

Texier will likely be a center and my guess is Foudy gets moved to the middle if/when PLD gets traded. I just put up random lines as they aren’t announced yet but they said who was on the roster.

After Torts confirmed today that PLD does want out, I feel like it’s a matter of when. Blows my mind that he wants out, it’s getting old to see our best players bounce.

It’s that or they put their foot down and tell him tough s**t, we control your rights for 4 more years so deal with it.

I mean that’s kinda what WPG did with trouba and what we did with Anderson and they both netted decent returns. I’d agree it’s a matter of when, but I also don’t see it happening for a few weeks at the earliest. A contender loses a top 6 center due to injury or a team with a hot start wants some extra help, or a team who’s supposed to be great struggles early needs a jump start.
