Yes, I know there is a zero (probably less than zero) percent chance any of these guys get traded. Just curious who you guys think gets the better deal?

Toronto. McDavid is better than both Matthews & Marner combined ( a bit hyperbolic). He can single handedly win a game. As great as Matthews will be, he's not in McDavid's league.

EDM wins that, I'm sorry - I know McDavid is absolutely the best player BUT Matthews is going to be a complete number 1 centerman, Marner a dynamic winger who looks a lot like Gaudreau and then Rielly is just a lot better than Larsson.
Its fair to disagree but if the Leafs pulled this off I would be so upset

Leafs win because McDavid is the best player. IMO McDavid is going to play elsewhere after about seven years Edmonton. He'll play for better opportunities elsewhere (Please don't tell me that the Oilers will resign him at any cost, cause there is a maximum). Same with Matthews, if Arizona still has a team, I don't see how he stays a Leaf past about seven years either.

I don't think either McDavid or Matthews will leave Edmonton or Toronto respectively, when was the last time a franchise player changed teams as soon as he could? Stamkos didn't leave TB, Tavares won't leave the Islanders, McDavid won't leave EDM and Matthews won't leave the Leafs

That's why teams sign guys to 8 year deals for max money. Also, if those teams win, they aren't leaving. I'm sure Sid would love to play in Montreal - but he's not leaving a great situation in Pittsburgh.
