I'm not 100% sure on the value of the Columbus trade, but something centred around that I think could make a lot of sense for both teams. Hall wants out, and this package could make sense for what both teams need now.

Additional Details:

I could 100% see it being a first in this deal, but I downgraded it to a 2nd because the Sabres are also getting a borderline NHL ready prospect in Brooks who they don't have to worry about developing. Also, with it being a weak draft class, I'm not sure it will be that huge a difference between a first and second in terms of the player Buffalo would get, nevermind the fact they have like 0 scouts...
