<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Clement</b></div><div>So as for these proposal, Ryan Hartman signed a team friendly 3 years extension with Sean Monahan a few weeks back, & he's not available to be traded. Much like Marcus foligno, wild love him, &; he loves Minnesota; so he's not available due to the extension he signed
Also this was discussed last night when another Calgary fan proposed Sean Monahan to Minnesota, but dating back to last year, wild doesn't appear to have any interest in him.
One more thing you put 2022, & 2023 draft picks on purpose because there's supposed to be two of the best draft in a long while. It's not Convenient that in 2021 where wild have two 1st round pick, you didn't put that
<p>Kirill Kaprizov and the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/mnwild?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">#mnwild</a>’s search for a center: What we’re hearing about Minnesota’s trade targets and movable assets MEATY 🥩 <a href="https://t.co/GlnHgxFWp9" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://t.co/GlnHgxFWp9</a></p>— Michael Russo (@RussoHockey) <a href="https://twitter.com/RussoHockey/status/1408771330514821125?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">June 26, 2021</a></div></div>
I hadn't seen that. Shoutout Ruso for that one haha. Guess I'll re-work on a Monahan deal.
(For Context to anyone looking at this after I'd adjusted it, the trade was Hartman, a 1st, and 2nd for Monahan close to 50% retained)

I'm not really sure they will though. I highly highly doubt they get a first-rounder, so it'll probably be a 2nd and maybe a little something on top of that, but not much more.

Flames Re-tool
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>There's a difference between wanting to dump a guy and willing to trade a guy. Boston is will to move DeBrusk in the right deal, but they are not looking to dump him when his value is at it's lowest. Hall re-sign also has no impact on keeping DeBrusk.</div></div>
I suppose. I think Hall signing definitely has an impact because it means DeBrusk'll be stuck on the third line. Again, it could easily just be one of those two and a high-mid round pick. Boston NEED defenceman and Giordano would allow them to really go for it one last time before Bergeron's contract expires. I'd argue this is the right move for them to move him.

Really? Cause from what I've seen Boston want to move on from him. Especially when they re-sign Hall.

The first rounder is in there as a sweetener for taking Gost. It would probably normally be a second if Gost wasn't in the trade, but because they're also dumping his salary it moves up to a first. Tanev also had a really good season, so it's going to cost a bit to get him. Picking up Tanev also solves a pretty decent sized problem in the RD on Philly.

It is quite a bit, but the Bruins want to dump DeBrusk and Ritchie is probably not gonna get re-signed. Odds are you'll pick up a new 3LW in free agency for cheaper than you'd get either of them. If you'd rather not do Ritchie it could easily be a 3rd or 4th rounder instead.

The Flames could easily add a mid-round pick. I just threw in Kylington cause I figured he'd be a good cheap depth option who could slot into the lineup.

Non-Full Reset Game 7 L
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Aussie_Blackhawk</b></div><div>Saad and Coleman are getting more and your already over the cap.</div></div>
Potentially. The Leafs could move Kerfoot instead of Engvall if they want even more cap space. The Leafs also aren't over the cap because Kesler is on LTIR, so they get the 6.875 million in relief from that, meaning they have just over 75k of space.

I didn't really think about the signings, just filled out the roster really quickly. The main point of the post was not overreacting to Jarry being bad and picking up someone more reliable.

Again, I don't think these are perfectly fair trades, but something along those lines is what I was thinking. I also wouldn't rule out Boeser given last offseason's rumours and his cap hit. You also have Jim Benning as a GM, so I don't think you can rule anything out and getting a BC boy in Reilly could be very enticing for him. Oh, and you get a Boeser replacement in Amirov for a couple of years down the road in the trade.

I just don't think it would be 1 for 1 because of the salaries, and the fact that Tkachuk is expiring relatively soon with a high QO. I don't know what would need to be added, but I think 1 for 1 just doesn't make a ton of sense for either team.

I just don't see Toronto giving up the 15th overall pick for an RFA where they're going to have to deal with Darren Ferris again. Especially when that RFA is a forward.
