Description
I like the chemistry between Beau and Barzy from what we've seen over the past couple of seasons and think they could make a special duo. I moved Bailey to LW which should be seamless for him (he is a left shot) to facilitate Palmieri playing on his on-wing. Unsure about where to put Zajac, but the 3rd line seems to be the best fit for him as his defensive game with with Pageau can make that a stingy defensive line with Pageau and Wahlstrom leading the offense. I expect to see Trotz tinker with the lines for the first few games.

Leddy could come in for Pulock on the PP, as Leddy has been great with his zone entries and playmaking this season. Pulock is still missing that first goal, but hopefully he can turn it up for the remainder of the regular season and beyond.

Let me know what you guys think.

I would switch eberle and Palmieri because eberle can drive his own line. I think Palmieri will benefit from playing with barzal.

On the powerplay id put leddy over pulock. He's better at entering the zone.

Definitely a solid idea and one I'd like to see in a game. I put Palmieri on the 2nd line to try and preserve the chemistry on the existing lines, but could totally see your scenario working out for the better.

At this stage in the season I'm inclined to agree, it's definitely a bias on my end keeping Pulock there now because his shot is so deadly, but Leddy has been the more effective defenseman on the PP. Thanks for the feedback!

Leddy has been brutal for most of trotz time as HC, but this season hes kind of regained his 14-15 form. He should be a mainstay on the PP. I would keep rotating pulock and dobson on the other unit until someone runs away with it.

But I would also like to see them load up one PP unit. Something like:

Dobson-wahlstrom (left dot) -barzal (right dot) - Palmieri (bumper) - nelson (net front). It would give them so many different ways to score.
1.Dobson shot through a double screen
2. Wahlstrom one timer
3. quick set low (barzal ---> nelson----> Palmieri)

That could be pretty deadly, would love to see this
