Detroit has no need for Stralman. Unlike the Staal move last off-season, where he filled a need (played every game by the way), Stralman would not even crack our top 8 in depth. If we're taking on straight cap dumps, it will cost a lot more than that, with no picks going back the other way.

Honestly, I think it would cost even more than that. He was a healthy scratch this season and we're flush on the right side. I'm thinking at least 2 B+ assets.

I mean yeah I was modeling it off the Staal deal obviously although Stralman is better than Staal was. The deal really could be with whoever I just figured Detroit could use a free pick but they could be swapped out with anyone else
