Description

The future of the left side of D is Morrissey, Heinola, Stanley and Samberg. Pionk and DeMelo need help on the right side and I don't see Poolman and Niku as the answers at this point. PLD lived with Savard's family in Columbus and he seems like the exact kind of guy to pair with Heinola to cover for his offensive forays.

Up front, the Jets keep the top 9 intact but elevate Ehlers to the top line. Wheeler is better suited to play 18 minutes with Stas and PLD than 22 minutes with KC and Scheif. The fourth line is packed with potential and would do more than the reliable defensive minutes provided by the 103 years of experience currently filling out the 4th line.

Berdin deserves a chance but Brossoit has delivered exactly what the Jets have needed and seems popular within the team.

Poolman is not an answer but you sign him to a 2 year contract?

Seattle will be asking more not to take Appleton. Maybe DeMelo and a 3rd.
