FL1 - great against Toronto in game 7; will look to shut down Connor Scheifele and Wheeler the same way
FL2 - Cerebral players, we all know what Suzuki can do defensively and Caufield impressed in game 7 on that front. Lots of finish on this line to capitalize on Jets' tendency to allow high-danger scoring chances
FL3 - Can also play against the Jets' top-six, this line is full of speed and clutch performers aimed to match an incredible Jets shutdown FL3
FL4 - Get Tatar in to capitalize on Jets' porous defense; they allow a lot of high-danger scoring chances and we need people who can bury them. Perry and Armia add some nice sandpaper to that line
Edmundson-Petry - tbh the makeup of the defence all depends on who is least injured. From what I know Chiarot and Weber are playing hurt so we need Edmundson and Petry to step up in a shutdown role.
Chiarot-Weber - I mean we'll still play them half the game but hopefully on the second pair they can get some time against the Jets' third or fourth line
Kulak-Romanov - get Romanov in to add physicality to an already-physical series. Should be an invaluable experience for him. Would like to play him with someone more defensively responsible but Merrill is out so Kulak will have to do. It's okay Kulak has improved defensively
