Description
For the comps I used point totals for the year before a player signed their new contract (19-20 & 20-21). An average is taken at the end. Playoff stats included.

UFA's

Player: Tomas Tataaaaaaar (Pace: 15G 31A 46PTS)
Comps: Z. Kassian ($3.2m x 4), T. Ennis ($1.0m x 1), C. Coyle ($5.25m x 6), M. Ferland ($3.5m x 4), P. Byron ($3.4m x 4), B. Connolly ($3.5 x 4), J. Silfverberg (5.25m x 5)
Description: For Tuna in the comps above there seams to be two types of contacts he could sign. Ennis is obviously an outlier, so I didn't count him in the calculation.
Contract: $4,016,667 x 4.5 years, $4,020,000 x 5

Player: Phillip Danault (Pace: 7G 27A 34PTS)
Comps: A. Galchenyuk ($1.05m x 1), C. Stephenson ($2.75m x 4), J. Fast ($2.0m x 3), J. Armia, ($2.6m x 2), P. Danault* ($5m x 6)
Description: Chucky is an outlier so I didn't include him. I included that Danault at the end because that's the contract he turned down at the start of the season, and the closest thing possible to Danault is himself. Danault's slow start to the season definitely did not help this number go up.
Contract: $3,087,500 x 3.75 years, $3,088,000 x 4

Player: Corey Perry (Pace: 16G 21A 37PTS)
Comps: V. Filppula ($3m x 2), C. Soderberg ($1m x 1)
Description: There weren't many comps for Perry because of his age, but these two players were the closest to his pace available.
Contract: $2,000,000 x 1.5 years, $2,000,000 x 2

Player: Joel Armia (Pace: 15G 15A 30PTS)
Comps: C. Sheary ($735k x 1), N. Cousins ($1.5m x 2), W. Simmonds ($1.5m x 1), M. Sorensen ($1.5m x 2), B. Tanev ($3.5m x 6), T. Ennis ($1m x 1)
Description: This is pretty easy and obvious.
Contract: $1,622,500 x 2.16 years, $1,600,000 x 2

Player: Eric Staal (Pace: 7G 17A 24PTS)
Comps: N. Thompson ($750k x 1), B. Boyle ($940k x 1), P.E. Bellemare ($1.8m x 2)
Description: I don't think Staal is brought back and same with Tuna, but I'm doing this just to see what they are worth. I Staal doesn't retire, I think he signs for league min.
Contract: $1,163,333 x 1.33 years, $1,163,000 x 1

RFA's

Player: Jesperi Kotkaniemi (Pace: 11G 20A 31PTS)
Comps: D. Gurianov ($2.55m x 2), A. Kempe ($2m x 3), A. Beauvillier ($2.1m x 2)
Description: This makes sense. Similar contracts and fair value for KK.
Contract: $2,216,667 x 2.33 years, $2,220,000 x 2

Player: Artturi Lehkonen (Pace: 11G 10A 21PTS)
Comps: E. Robinson (975k x 2), W. Carrier (1.4m x 4), D. Malgin (700k x 1), Z. Girgensons (2.2m x 3), R. Grimaldi (2m x 2)
Contract: $1,455,000 x 2.4 years, $1,455,000 x 2 years

i went by age, only went with rfa/ufa when i got to the rfa'a where i also used whether they were coming of an elc or not. Danault signs for more for sure, but his offensive production just wasn't good this year, but his defensive value makes him worth a lot more.
