Habs will not have to give away at top-4 defenceman to find a home for Byron. So the Seattle deal is silly.

DeAngelo will play next season in the KHL, where white surpremacists are much more the norm. No team — certainly not a Canadian-based one — is going to put a known racist on their roster. He's just not worth the shadow he'd cast.

I like Saad, but he's probably going to cost more than $4.9M. If Domi gets $5.3M.....

No reason why Saad wouldn't get the same contract as Gallagher/Kreider. In Montreal or elsewhere.
