Laine

I don't understand the allure of Laine. He can be a good player and has shown he can score. But he has also demanded a trade out of Winnipeg, been challenging to manage on the team and hasn't looked good in Columbus. Does he have potential? Sure. But you have to consider all the player.

I think RNH is a little high given the CAP.

This team is basically last years team and I'm not sure the needle moves the right direction, I'm not fond of your defense.

Bottom six is a huge issue last year and I don't see that you've solved it.

Like I said I don’t think it’s realistic for the reasons you mentioned. But the intrigue of how deadly a top 6 that would be is what gets people

I think Nuge is gonna need a slight raise to resign and I think he deserves it. If he doesn’t get it here he will somewhere else.

Oilers sucked this last postseason but I don’t think a whole lot needs to change, they didn’t get a lot of power plays and struggled to produce offense but the defence was fine and Smith held his own.

For Defence I’m operating under the assumption that come January Klefboom will be back and if not I’m fine with a bounce back season from Bear and Koekook showed well enough that I feel comfortable waiting a year for Broberg. Check out the link in team explanation for my actual prediction.

For the bottom 6 rumour is they’re targeting Goodrow which I don’t love but he’d come cheaper then Coleman or McGinn. Khaira and Archibald both played well enough to come back. McLeod is ready but Tippett doesn’t trust him so you need a 3c/4c I prefer bonino but feel he’s out of the oilers price range so I think and option like Glendening or Derek Ryan makes sense here and let one of them fight with Turris and McLeod for those spots. Kahun I brought back because I feel he should bounce back but feel free to swap him with someone else
