Description

This may not be what people want to see but it also creates more possibilities. Sabres get 4 1st rd picks in this draft that allows them to build long term depth or trade up for pieces they covet. It also allows them to step away from having to select Owen power 1st overall. This is a deep defensive draft with not as much top tier offensive talent. Doing this allows them to then select either Eklund or Beniers at 1st overall. Then at the back end of the first round build a team.
Picks would project as 1, 22, 24, 25 & 31 as of now. Prospects in mind include Cossa, L'Heureux, Pastujov, Olausson, or Chayka.

LOL, 4 picks in THIS class between 22 and 31. Actually its somehow too much and not enough at the same time. Like I will not be the least bit surprised if all we get out of that is boldy, rossi, and whatever we move dumba for. Our gm HAS to take that or admit that he's hopelessly underqualified for his job, and I have every confidence that they would miss on all four picks (again, the fact that its not a good draft class doesn't help here).
