People will argue that both Batherson and Tkachuk will get more and they could, but at this point as long as they get signed there's no problem cap-wise. I personally think they will both sign bridge-type deals so the dollar amount will be reduced.

Manson is a really good defenceman and he's a stabilizing force and could be to Chabot what Methot was to Karlsson. Anaheim reportedly wants to cash in but I think a high 2nd round pick should be enough to get him out before the draft.

Nugent-Hopkins doesn't get the credit he deserves. He is a player that plays a 200-foot game and still gives you decent offence. Pair him with C. Brown to shelter Stutzle's defensive gaffs and it could be great for Jimmy's development and give Ottawa 2 solid lines for other teams to contend with. I figure Nuge will get somewhere between what Pageau got ($5m) and what Duchene got ($8m). With the cap staying flat I don't see many teams wanting to open up the pocketbook and as a player that could be good for the Sens long term.
