Description

Appleton gets selected by Seattle. Chevy fills the cupboards with the veterans who Maurice loves to play over the drafted and developed players of our supposed draft and develop market. Copp goes to nasty arbitration and Pionk only signs after missing the first week of training camp. Taxi squad players all miss half a season getting bounced between the Jets and Moose.

That said, I like Chevy and think he has done well as GM. I’m just exaggerating how this team tends to spend their summer.

Its not really an exaggeration though, Chevy needs to be more active in building out this team and gets a free pass far too often for not doing anything, if the draft and develop model is so important to the smallest market team in the league then stop signing plugs and retreads that block younger and more talented players that you drafted BUT if you really need to sign some vets at least sign the better/useful ones.
